The outdoor kitchen is finished in beautiful thermo-treated wood, giving the kitchen a luxurious look.
Thermally treated ash
Thermory thermo-treated ash (PEFC, FSC, Bark Mark, CE) has been used in the wooden parts, which has been tested by CATAS and has obtained a durability class 1, which means that the resistance to rot is 25+ years. The raw materials are thoroughly tested and come from responsibly managed forests.
The thermo-treated ash does not require surface treatment. As with any wood, Thermory products will naturally turn a silvery grey over time. This process starts immediately and, depending on the effects of UV radiation, can take from a few months to a few years. It does not make the boards less durable.
If you wish to maintain or change the shade of your thermo-treated wood, we recommend that you oil your boards once a year with a UV stable oil. The use of organic oils is not recommended as they contain substances that are a source of nutrition for biological organisms such as bacteria, mould, etc. Regular maintenance will make the wood last longer. We recommend cleaning and maintenance of wooden parts in spring, before the summer. Oil should only be applied to clean, flat, dust-free surfaces. Test on a small piece of wood before oiling tables.
Natural granite as a working surface
The worktop of the JANE 1900 for terraces is made of 20 mm thick natural granite NERO ASSOLUTO. Granite worktops are an excellent choice as they are heat-resistant (can withstand temperatures of over 200 degrees Celsius), stain-resistant (easy to clean) and low porosity (porosity 0.0 - 0.2%), which means that they meet the most stringent hygiene requirements. Suitable for direct contact with food.
There is a choice of three finishes for the worktop:
1. brushed (antique)
2. polished
3. high gloss
